JOSÉ MOYA DEL PINO – CATALOG OF WORKS
Murals
Moya's second artistic career unfolded on a monumental scale through murals. After settling in California, he became one of the leading muralists of the American West, creating major works for Coit Tower, the Golden Gate International Exposition, post offices, breweries, and civic buildings. His murals combined historical research, strong architectural design, and a deep respect for the individuals who populated his scenes. Drawing on lessons learned from both Velázquez and the European avant-garde, he transformed walls into richly detailed narratives of California history and culture.
