The black and white photo of this painting shows it as “Procession” and is dated 1937. But a newspaper article from August 1935 describes in detail a painting titled “Peasant’s Funeral,” on exhibit at the Artist’s Cooperative Gallery on Geary St in San Francisco, which sounds quite similar. There’s a chance the two may be the same painting; or that Moya painted two versions of the same concept.
